Hello electronoobs, first of all i would like to thank you for sharing so many interesting and fun electronic projects. I really love DIY and let me be frank, your solder iron v3 was love at first sight.

Following your recommendations i bought every single part and send the gerber files to your advertiser, and i got the board printed. I burn the bootloader to the ATmega328P chips.

Then, after soldering everything (following your directions) and checking that there isn't any short on the connections i'm trying to figure out how to upload the code to the iron solder board, i already have an FTDI programmer properly installed on windows, and the code is prepared and compiling fine on Arduino IDE, but maybe i'm confused about the wiring between the solder iron board and the ftdi board?

My current connections is like this:

FTDI - Solder Iron

GND - GND

VCC - VCC

TX - RX

RX -TX

DTR - DTR

BTW I used the following configuration on Arduino IDE:

Board: Arduino pro or pro mini

Processor: ATmega328P (5v, 16Mhz)

Port: The one is assigned to my FTDI

Programmer: ArduinoISP

When i upload the code i receive this error:

The connection is good. It looks like a bootlaoder problem. You should try the Arduino NANO board and the old bootlaoder as here: Arduino nano board example

So thank you!, i will be flashing the other bpards i finished to solder recently :)
So now it works?
Yes sir!, now my boards are flashed and seems to be operating well thanks to you!

Now i need to adapt a 20v 2A dc power adapter, with a male usb mini cable and test if the solder iron works as it should (i have the oled screen and side buttons working right now)
