Hy

Ive seen Elektronoobs tutorial about how to flash an atmega328 over an arduino a few days ago, so iver tried it myself.

Soldered everything together and loaded the ISP Software onto the arduino and defined USE_OLD_STYLE_WIRING so that i can use the pins used in the tutorial. After that i wanted to flash the bootloader onto the chip, so i selected arduino as ISP and clicked Burn Bootloader.

Now im getting this error Message:

avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x15

avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 2 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x15

avrdude: stk500_getparm(): (a) protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x14

avrdude: stk500_getparm(): (a) protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x02

avrdude: stk500_getparm(): (a) protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x10

It goes on and on.

So what the hell is going on. It looked so easy but it doesnt work.

Thank all of you for helping.

Greetings
