Good Day Everybody!

I wanna ask because i have some problem with my sensored Brushless DC motor.

what is the actual SENSOR SIGNAL WAVEFORM of BLDC motor like turnigy trackstar? is it Square wave or AC wave?

I'm using turnigy trackstar 21.5T motor, which have a sensor inside already(Sensor included in the motor already). Should it give square wave or AC wave?

in my case, it giving me a AC wave (which I think it should give a square wave since it have sensor included in that motor which alraedy amplified to have square output)that doesn't have any pattern to be solved.

is the sensor broken or the signal are AC wave?

Thankyou for your time to answer my question or share your thought of it. I really appriciate it!

iI'm sorry for my bad english.

Best Regards,

Haohao

I don't know that motort. But usually it should be a short square pulse. Here is an example in my case: http://www.electronoobs.com/images/Circuitos/tut_19/brushless_4.png  Also, see full tutorial: http://www.electronoobs.com/eng_circuitos_tut19.php

Good Day,

Thankyou forr the answer !
FYI, in my case, it the output of the hall effect sensor need to be pulled up using resistor and 5v. It didnt give the square wave like yours. it will only give squeare wave signal once it get pulled up by 5V and resistor.

Thankyou so much for your time!

Good Luck!
